About Gabe

I am a senior majoring in broadcast journalism at American University in Washington, D.C., seeking opportunities in TV news. I aspire to be an on-camera political reporter, looking to start my career in TV news upon graduating in May 2023.
I currently work for ABC News as a production assistant, reporting and producing for the network from the U.S. Capitol. I report original stories online, field-produce “Good Morning America” live shots, serve as a network pool producer, and assist with many other parts of the editorial operation at ABC News. You can learn more about my experience on my resume.
I double-major in broadcast journalism and CLEG (Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government) at American University in Washington, D.C., where I have a 4.0 GPA. I am the former general manager of American University Television, where I was also the executive producer of ATV News. I was also a reporter and copy editor for the school’s newspaper, “The Eagle.”
When I am not speaking with lawmakers, I am biking around D.C., keeping up with the news back home in central Maine and Southwest Florida, and reading about travel/aviation –– my hobby.
